Nathan\, Class of 1919 Professor of Political Science\, Department of Political Science\, Columbia University\nTom Christensen\, James T. Shotwell Professor of International Relations; Director\, China and the World Program\, Columbia University \nKo Wen-je is chairperson of the Taiwan People’s Party and a possible candidate in the 2024 Taiwan presidential election. He was mayor of Taipei from 2014 to 2022.
