SUMMARY:Assessment and Grading Online with Columbia Tools
DESCRIPTION:Assessing and grading students in online or hybrid courses can present challenges to instructors. Columbia provides several tools to help you create effective assessments and grade more efficiently. Join the CTL in exploring assignments\, quizzes\, and the gradebook in CourseWorks as well a newly available tool\, Gradescope. This workshop will give you an overview of the tools available to you to assess your students\, create online exams\, and grade large classes efficiently\, as well as strategies you can use to meet the demands of online assessment.  \nPlease note that this session takes place via Zoom and is not a Zoom training session. Before you attend this session\, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with Zoom.
