SUMMARY:GSAS Master's SynThesis Competition
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER \nWatch 12 Columbia MA students present their thesis research to a general audience in under three minutes using a single slide! \nThe annual GSAS Master’s SynThesis competition is an opportunity for MA students from across the Arts and Sciences to showcase their research and presentation skills in a relaxed and collegial environment\, and compete for cash prizes. First-\, second-\, and third-place awardees receive prizes of $1\,000\, $500\, and $250\, respectively. \nWatch the finalists compete–and cast your vote for Audience Choice–in-person or livestreamed on Zoom. For those who attend in-person\, the competition will be followed by a reception with beer\, wine\, and hors d’oeuvres. \nThe 2023 Columbia GSAS Master’s SynThesis Competition is sponsored by the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. \n
