DESCRIPTION:Preparing to teach a hybrid or online course for Summer 2021? \nThis session builds on the asynchronous Hybrid & Online Teaching Institute\, which offers a toolkit to help you plan your seminar\, small lecture\, or large lecture class. Be sure to enroll and complete the asynchronous Modules in CourseWorks (approximately 4 hours) prior to joining this 90-minute synchronous online session via Zoom. \nPlease register as space is limited. \nDuring the session\, you will have the opportunity to experience a few of the strategies that are recommended in the CourseWorks Modules\, share ideas and teaching approaches with colleagues\, discuss anticipated challenges and solutions in breakout rooms\, engage in a whole group Q&A discussion\, and begin planning for your course context.  \nObjectives: After participating in this session\, participants should be able to: \nSelect strategies that are appropriate for their course context\nUse the insights shared by colleagues to refine their approach\nReflect and plan for their hybrid or online teaching approach with their learners in mind\nPlease note that this session takes place via Zoom and is NOT a Zoom training session. Before you attend this session\, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with Zoom.
