DESCRIPTION:The EALAC administration is pleased to announce that there will be a PhD Workshop on “Preparing for the Academic Job Market” on Friday\, October 14th from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. \nMeeting location details will follow shortly. \nAt the workshop\, EALAC faculty will be available to discuss the job application process\, tips for assembling the necessary dossier materials\, preparing for interviews\, and other aspects of the academic search process. \nThis workshop is primarily intended for advanced PhD students who are preparing for the job market\, but any interested PhD students in the EALAC\, History-East Asia\, or East Asian Religion joint programs are welcome to attend. \nInterested students must RSVP to Tammy Langan (tl3131@columbia.edu) no later than 5:00pm on October 10th in order to attend. \n
