DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nMonday\, March 27\nWeatherhead East Asia Institute\, International Affairs Building room #918\n6:30-8:00pm\n\n\n\n\n\nProfessor Tomoko Akami (Australian National University) will present “The Japanese empire and imperial polities as problematics and possibilities for History of International Relations.” Papers can be found here and here. \n\nProfessor Jessamyn Abel  (Penn. State) will comment.\n\n\nIf you would like to attend the seminar\, please RSVP for in person attendance at this link or online (via ZOOM) at this link.\n\nAfter each session this term there is an optional dinner in the seminar room. The cost of dinner is $15 per person ($10 for graduate students)\, payable in cash to the seminar organizers on the day of the event. RSVP for dinner is required. Please RSVP by 26 March (11:59pm) at this link. \nDirections to IAB can be found here.
