Hands-on Workshop on Japanese Newspaper Databases on Friday, March 22

During this hands-on workshop, we will explore how to make the best use of Nikkei Telecom and other Japanese newspaper databases which received major system upgrades recently.
Chiaki Sakai, our Japanese Studies Librarian, offers two identical sessions on Friday, March 22. The location will be Room 306 at Butler Library.
- Morning Session: 10 am – Noon
- Afternoon Session: 2 pm – 4 pm
Highlight of this session will be receiving 7 extra login IDs/PWs to test Nikkei Telecom. You might be confused by frequently pop-upping up the “課金/Charge” message while using Nikkei Telecom. That is because Starr Library has a Pay Per View subscription for Nikkei Telecom. You don’t have to worry about it during this workshop and you will learn how to use it smartly and effectively for your future research.
We will also look at recently upgraded Asahi Cross Search and Yomidas.
