Making Feedback Matter: Strategies That Serve You and Your Students
08/25/2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Are you frustrated that the feedback you give to students seems to go unnoticed/unused? Tired of poring over students’ work and spending hours grading? Do you wonder how to make the feedback you give more effective?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop is for you! This session explores the connection between feedback and student learning, and provides strategies on giving feedback that is actionable, timely, and efficient. Through reflection on current feedback practices and whole group discussion, participants will consider their individual feedback approaches that incorporate evidence-based strategies that are transparent, time-saving, and effective into your teaching practice. Register here.
In advance of this session, we ask that registered participants read the CTL’s online resource: Feedback for Learning which will inform the session activities.
Unable to join us for this workshop? Engage with our on-demand resources: Feedback for Learning, Peer Review: Intentional Design for Any Course Context, and Incorporating Rubrics Into Your Feedback and Grading Practices.
