Overview of Advanced CTL Fellowships for Graduate Students
February 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The CTL’s Graduate Student Programs and Services team invites current and past CTL Fellows, as well as doctoral and MFA students who have engaged extensively with CTL offerings, to join us for an information session we are offering on 2025-26 advanced fellowship opportunities at the CTL.
NOTE: CTL’s advanced fellowships entail substantial mentoring, oversight, and administrative duties, and they are generally awarded to students who have held CTL fellowships in the past. Students who have not previously participated in a CTL fellowship are invited to instead join our Introduction to CTL Fellowships, running from 1 – 2 pm on Feb. 28.
This information session will focus on the following opportunities:
- Senior roles in the Lead Teaching Fellowship (LTF), Teaching Observation Fellowship (TOF), and Teaching Assessment Fellowship (TAF)
- The Teaching Consultant role
- Fellowships through partnering departments in GSAS, including the Fellowship in Academic Administration and the Office of Academic Diversity & Inclusion Fellowship focused on the Pedagogies of Race & Oppression Learning Community
In this session, CTL staff will review all senior fellowship opportunities available to graduate students. They will then be joined by current and past fellows to share the expectations, development opportunities, and timelines for applying to each of the above opportunities. At the end of the session, participants will be invited to ask questions in an interactive Q&A.
Information about entry level fellowships at CTL, such as the Lead Teaching Fellowship, Teaching Observation Fellowship, and Teaching Assessment Fellowship, are being discussed in a separate information session on at 1 pm on February 28. Learn more and register for that session here.
