Performance Workshop on Kun Opera (Kunqu)

The workshop will be held with members of the Kunqu Society (海外崑曲社) and will feature top-ranked performer Cheng Min 程敏. Workshop topics include stage movement and vocal training.

This event is held in conjunction with two spring EALAC courses: “Chinese Theater and Drama” (taught by Allison Bernard) and “Music in Premodern China” (taught by Zach Berge-Becker).

For anyone not enrolled in these two courses, RSVPs are required. There are a limited number of registration slots available, so please RSVP early! We will keep a running waitlist if we reach capacity for the workshop.
