Undergrad Virtual Social Hour

Please join us on Thursday, March 17th from 8:00 – 10:00PM (EDT) for our Virtual Social Hour!
This will be a virtual welcome party for all recently declared EALAC majors and concentrators. We hope that all of the junior and senior EALAC majors and concentrators will join us in welcoming the new students to the department.
We will be using a platform called Gather.Town (click here to learn more), in which you will be able to virtually mingle with other EALAC students. After choosing an avatar, you can walk around the virtual department space to find other students. When you approach others, a Zoom video will pop up for each person, so that you can video chat with one or more students at the same time. During the social hour, there will also be team and 1v1 games (located in different areas across the virtual space) that you can play together.
No software download is required. However, you will need a computer to access the website.
