In conversation with Professor Takako Hikotani, Professor Curtis will discuss the prospects for political change, the significance of Prime Minister Kishida’s state visit to the US, and the challenges facing the US-Japan alliance in an ever more tense and complicated international environment, among other issues.

This event is hosted by the Weatherhead East Asian Institute and co-sponsored by the Columbia University Alumni Association of Japan. This talk is part of the 75th Anniversary Summer Alumni Series in Asia.
