The Global Order and the Standard of Civilization

A new Korea edition of Professor Lydia H. Liu’s book in Chinese The Global Order and the Standard of Civilization has appeared in print. This edited volume explores the emergence of modern global order and the place of China and East Asia in that order through the elaboration of the Euro-American standard of civilization over the past 500 years. The original book was published in Chinese by Joint Publisher in Beijing in 2016 and the Korea translation from the Chinese edition was undertaken by Professor Tae-Geun Cha and published by Gyoyudang Press, Seoul in April 2022.
