Project Description


Chen Wu earned her B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature (2006) and M.A. in Classical Chinese Philology (2009) from Fudan University, and received her Ph.D. in Pre-modern Chinese Literature (2016) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since she joined the Columbia faculty in 2013, she has taught Intro to Classical Chinese and all levels of modern Chinese courses. Her research interests include classical Chinese, medieval Chinese narrative writings, and the interrelation between city and literature.
