Stella is a PhD student in premodern Korean history focusing on the social and cultural history of the late Chosŏn period. Her primary research interests lie in women’s communicative networks, constructions of mothering and motherhood, and feminist theory. Stella holds a BA in Political Science from Brown University and a dual MA/MSc in International and World History from Columbia and the London School of Economics.
