Literature Reviews: How To & Why

Literature reviews are one of the most asked about sections in scholarly writing. In this workshop you will learn how to write your own, whether it will be for your dissertation, a journal publication, or a research paper. You will also learn WHY literature reviews are essential. All disciplines are welcome, but the librarian teaching specializes in social science topics. This will be taught over Zoom. You must register for the workshop by 3 pm the day of and all participants will be emailed the Zoom link.

ICLS Undergraduate Meet and Greet

Current undergraduate majors and prospective students are encouraged to attend to chat with faculty, learn more about the program, and share their experiences.

The agenda will start with everyone being welcomed into the main zoom room where Director Lydia H. Liu will present an overview of our Institute. Then, we will open rooms for CLS and MLS students to meet with the DUS and Director of MLS and their fellow students interested or currently in the major.
